Located just 1.5 miles north of the new North/South bypass and 3 miles from the Des Moines International Airport.  To stay ahead of the market in Des Moines, Southridge Mall recently experienced a dynamic renovation project that modernized and brightened the south side center.  The renovation project followed the theme, “lighter and brighter”.  This exciting project featured a new color pallet, new furnishings, softseating areas and interior landscaping will be added and updated throughout the center.

Southridge Mall food court was the primary focus as well.  New dining tables and chairs along with new tile flooring were included in the renovation project offering a crisp and clean atmosphere for food court diners.  The food court restrooms were also renovated and family friendly restrooms with private nursing rooms were added.  For our guests that need to stay connected we also introduced a Wi-Fi “hot spot”, supplying free public wireless internet access within the food court.  Adjacent to the food court we have recently opened a children’s soft play area for our youngest guests.

Along with the renovation effort a strong focus will be placed on remerchandising the center creating more retail options for the Southridge consumer.  The formula for retailer success at Southridge Mall will be a mixture of core ready-to-wear for men and women as well as a collection of retailers and eateries enhancing the experience for our shoppers.
